Job Purpose:
Amcor is seeking a Junior Compliance Business Partner in a permanent full-time position based in the UK, either working remotely from home or ideally from Bristol Shared Service Center. We are looking for a collaborative and hands-on individual with an awareness of internal controls. The Junior Compliance Business Partner will support the compliance function in the testing of controls owned by our sites and the Bristol Shared Service Centre as well as contributing to the performance of some of the controls owned by the AFEMEA Business Group and other packages of project work as necessary.
MAIN Accountabilities:
The Junior Compliance Business Partner will contribute to the following:

Supporting the management and performance of SOX testing for the site and the SSC
- Supporting remediation activities as appropriate

Assessing the efficiency of control processes to ensure that we are operating in the leanest way possible whilst maintaining high standards

Performing SOX controls that exist at the business group level
- Supporting the change agenda taking place across AFEMEA
- Working with the non- front- line entities on any issues as necessary

Building and developing relationships with sites across the footprint

Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience
-
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Experience within a finance role and some experience with/ knowledge of internal controls

Understanding of accounting standards
- Experience with financial IT systems
- Ability to work fluently in English

End-to-end process minded

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, hands-on, and “can do” attitude with natural attention to detail
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS:
