Fletchers Solicitors Ltd have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our growing Finance team!
Location: Liverpool/Manchester/ Hybrid

We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with an attention to detail.

Experience of working with large data sets, the ability to manipulate them and present them in an understandable way to business users.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Understanding of how relational databases work.

Able to communicate with internal stakeholders effectively.

Able to use Microsoft office (mainly Excel)
As a member of the BI team, you will play a pivotal role in our data governance strategy. Working with stakeholders across the business to drive quality and consistency of our data and ensure we make the best use of it.

Key Accountabilities:

Creation and maintenance of a Data Dictionary, defining key dimensions and measures used across the business.

Analysing data for consistency and accuracy in line with intended use.

Identifying obsolete data or any other opportunities for data cleansing.

Identify opportunities for standardisation of data across the business, aligning key reporting terms.
-
Be involved in the creation and maintenance of business rules used in reporting.

Maintaining relationships with the operations team to ensure alignment on business process design.

Upskilling on SQL and Power BI to assist in the creation of new reporting solutions.

Assist in the development and maintenance of our reporting structures, security rules and data management processes.

Responding to support tickets for any data or BI queries.
