Hours of work:
Monday = 8:30 – 5pm (8 hrs)
Tuesday = day off
Wednesday = 8:30 – 5pm (8 hrs)
Thursday = 8:30 – 5pm (8 hrs)
Friday = 8:30 – 5pm (7.5 hrs)
We are looking for an Admin Assistant who can help us deliver an efficient, high quality medical records service across the Trust. This role is essential to providing safe care to our patients by ensuring that medical records are in the right place at the right time for patients to be treated and then returned to the correct storage location. The role will be key to helping us achieve our targets.
There will be future opportunities for progression within the team in Band 3 roles and subsequently Band 4 roles.
The post requires an efficient, caring and proactive individual with an appreciation and understanding of the confidential nature of the work.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, be excellent communicators with good telephone skills and have the ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis whilst maintaining a positive approach, and providing a quality service that supports our patient care.
This role provides a great insight into the NHS and requires excellent inter-personal skills when communicating with patients and members of staff at all levels within the Trust.

Main responsibilities:
- Making sure that notes are available for Outpatient clinics and that they contain the correct documents.
- Greeting patients and visitors on arrival at reception desks.
- Marking patients attended on the electronic patient administration system.
- Inputting data and managing appointments on the electronic patient administration system.
