We are looking for a part time sales person to join our friendly garment decoration business which is based in Devon with customers all over the UK. Positive work ethic more important than experience but time spent in sales/customer service roles would be a definite advantage. Your main responsibility will be to find new clients (which means cold calling via purchased lists and e-shot follow up), whilst also maintaining relationships with some of the current customer base. You will make recommendations, prepare quotes and answer queries whilst liaising with the business owner and the Production Team. Training given but the right person will be an organised self-starter who is comfortable on the phone. Cold calling can be monotonous and obviously involves rejection so patience and resilience are required to turn prospects into orders – but we are a service orientated team with a high quality, reasonably priced product range so it can be done! An unwavering commitment to meet customer deadlines and expectations is what drives us. Flexible working (10-15 hours per week – ideally a couple of hours per day rather than two full days). This role is telephone based but we do sometimes attend shows and visit customers. Would suit parent of school age children as could take holidays off. Based in SW but sales function can be remote.
