An opportunity to play your part – As the successful candidate, your role as Innovation Developer will support Digital Technology Services driving digital innovation and creativity within the organisation, whilst utilising methodologies such as design thinking and Lean Start up to identify opportunities, generate ideas, and develop new digital products and services.
The day to day
- Support in the drive of innovation and creativity within the organisation by identifying opportunities, generating ideas, and developing new products and services.
- Deliver design thinking and Lean Start up methodologies to empathise with users, identify user needs, and create solutions that meet those needs.
- Help develop and implement creative strategies for customer engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovation projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support innovation initiatives.
- Apply Start up methodology to drive innovation within the organisation.
- Identify and validate customer problems and opportunities.
- Build and launch Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to test and validate solutions.
- Promote development and execute experiments to test assumptions and validate hypotheses.
- Define and track key performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of innovation projects.
- Analyse data and feedback to continuously improve innovation processes and outcomes.
- Analyse customer feedback and usage data to continuously improve MVPs and inform product strategy.
About you
- Knowledge and experience with design thinking, Lean start up, and other creativity and innovation methodologies.
- Strong experience in ideation, prototyping, and product development.
- Ability to empathise with users and understand user needs.
- Experience developing and implementing customer engagement and retention strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
