Job Description
We have a very exciting opportunity for a strong conceptual Senior Creative, Brand Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful graphic design, brand identity and brand strategy, as well as digital and interaction design within the Retail, Food and Beverage, Health and Wellbeing, Property Development, Hospitality and Transport sectors.
The perfect candidate must be well versed in best practice branding design and must have a detailed understanding of the brand strategy process to work alongside our strategy team. We are looking for an exceptional creative mind that is as skilled at leading the creative team, as doing the work. This person must be able to work across multiple projects and have a proven experience of working with blue chip companies as well as entrepreneurs and start-ups, across all aspects of the graphic design life cycle.
This is a client-facing role that requires the person to be able to engage and manage clients in a proactive manner. There will be regular client meetings and site visits, we are a hybrid studio with the expectation that you will be in the studio for 3 days a week, inspiring and supporting the team, being collaborative and driving the creative. The person will be required to document meetings, produce presentations, and create all project deliverables to an exceptionally high standard.
Working as part of the graphics and branding team, the person will be expected to work with guidance from our Creative Director along with other members of the Senior Management team. We expect this person to be completely self-sufficient in terms of working across multiple projects, managing their & the teams time efficiently and excelling in project deliverables.
Roles and responsibilities
- Receiving and interpreting client briefs
- Running client and team meetings / workshops
- Creation of strategic direction for a brand / experience (physical and/or digital)
- Brand concept generation, creation, and execution
- Developing ideas for brand engagement, user experience and interaction design
- 2D visual design concepts and finalising through design development
- Artworking, proofing and print management
- Supplier management • Client liaison, review, and signoff
- Leadership, inspiration, and art direction of junior members of the graphics team
- Keeping up to date with trends and a love for all that’s new and innovative
- Developing existing client relationships and supporting the farming of new work
- Supporting new business activities and winning new clients
Specific skills required for the role
- 7+ years experience
- Excellent idea and concept generation abilities
- Extensive experience in designing for retail; specifically interior signage, POS, interior graphics, way finding and exterior fascia
- Extensive experience in designing corporate literature; specifically design, artwork, print production and liaison
- Extensive experience in creating brand identity, marketing and communications materials
- Extensive experience in motion and digital designing websites and applications for smart devices, including liaison with web developers
- Outstanding skills in creating bespoke illustrations; specifically traditional style illustrations and typography
- Extensive experience in designing uniforms, packaging and production of packaging
- Very confident and articulate art direction, photography direction and liaison
- Very confident in managing suppliers (e.g., copywriting, printers, photographers)
- Outstanding client liaison and management skills
- Good team leadership skills
- Excellent ability to produce all project deliverables to an exceptionally high standard
- Expert Apple Mac user
- Expert user of MS Office
- Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Expert in Figma
- Outstanding copywriting skills
- Excellent story boarding and creation of presentations

Qualifications required:
- 2:1 or higher Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Branding or Design
- International design agency and client experience is required
