Operations Manager
Salary: D.O.E
Location: Lacock, Wiltshire
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Stonegate Farmers Ltd are currently seeking a Operations Manager to join out Egg Innovation Centre based at our production facility in Lacock,Wiltshire. Reporting into the Executive Director, you will be responsible for delivering a production and delivery agenda in conjunction with Site Engineering, Site Technical and Development departments in align with wider business objectives.

A key distributor for leading premium egg brand Clarence Court, Stonegate Farmers boasts a customer base comprising of major mainstream food retailers, food service outlets and distributors.
The business is looking to continue to build on existing strong retailer relationships, enhance its strong branded reputation with further innovative egg branding, optimise on egg packing performance and extend customer and product development across both it’s Shell Egg and Egg Innovation divisions.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for our cooked egg production facility (EIC), working as part of the leadership team and wider leadership team cohesively and efficiently
- Own and monitor KPIs including yield, performance, waste and efficiency and introduce procedures to promote improvement against targets
- Deliver continuous improvement on performance and ensure all production opportunities are maximised
- Develop and promote a proactive safety culture in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager and production teams
- Ensure production environment is always ‘audit ready’.
- Ensure produce is dispatched in a timely manner, in line with production and delivery schedules.
- Manage the NPD process within the factory from trials to product launch, ensuring all technical and development protocols are followed
- Working with stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed capital expenditure plans
Person Specification:
- Experienced food industry professional, with a background in high-care/ ready-to-eat production
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
- Ability to engage teams and encourage a cross functional working approach
- Have a hand -on approach and be willing to ‘show and teach’
- Flexible with time, this operation is 24/7
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £80,000.00 per year

- Operations management: 5 years (preferred)
