This is a recently created post working within the multi-disciplinary team at Hackney Ark supporting the autism assessment and diagnostic clinics, and follow up support.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing dynamic team, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with experience of working with autistic children and young people and who are passionate about providing high quality care for them and their families.

The Hackney Ark is a purpose built Child Development Centre and services work closely together to offer a joined up service to families. The service sees children with complex physical disabilities, autism, sensory processing difficulties, co-ordination difficulties and other conditions which affect the child’s function and occupational performance.
This post is specifically to support the autism diagnostic and assessment process, post diagnostic offer and lead on the the Universal, Targeted and Specialist offers for children with autism or sensory processing needs and their families in Hackney. You will be working alongside community paediatricians, speech and language therapists and clinical psychologists with supervision and support from a clinical lead occupational therapist within Hackney Ark.
We offer regular supervision as well as in house and external training and CPD opportunities.
