Job Location: 3 Park Plaza, Battlefield Enterprise Park, Shrewsbury, SY1 3AF
Hours: 12 per week working 4 hours per day (Ideally 10am to 2pm)
Salary £19,838 per annum pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Driving: A full, clean UK driving licence with over 2 years driving experience is essential for this role.

We are looking for a Service Assistant to join our Mobility Aids Service (MAS) based in the Shrewsbury area.
The aim of our service is to provide a range of standard wheelchairs and mobility equipment to people who need them within the local community. The work you will do will be crucial to the organisation, and therefore vital to the lives of those in crisis.
A day in the life of a Service Assistant:
- You will provide administrative and operational support to the Mobility Aids Service. This may include face to face queries, taking calls, processing invoices and operating across different systems.
- You will ensure that the delivery service, stock control systems and other administrative systems meet the needs of the service whilst maintaining smooth and efficient operations.
To be a successful Service Assistant:
- Are you IT literate? Do you know your way around Microsoft Office and can learn and work with an online stock management system?
- Do you have customer service experience and are confident dealing with cash and card payments?
- Are you experienced in working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities?
- Can you work in an efficient manner with minimum supervision?
A full, clean UK driving licence with over 2 years driving experience is essential for this role.
