Job Description
Amanzi is looking for a Kitchen Assistant/team member to join our team. The Kitchen Assistant will perform a variety of tasks within the kitchen to provide assistance in daily prep and service operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean all food and kitchen equipment, tools and supplies
- Work as a part of a team to deliver quality food
- Maintain sanitary and orderly work environment
- Work safely around equipment and utensils
- Check quality of ingredients and quality of products
- Monitor stock levels and place orders when necessary
- Use kitchen equipment and utensils to prepare various dishes, including but not limited to: mixers, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc.
- Perform opening closing tasks: record menu prices, order supplies, check inventory, prepare recipes, etc.
- Ensure all food comes out clean and orderly
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain work area in good condition
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 14 per week
Salary: £8.73-£11.00 per hour
