We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, knowledgeable and highly motivated Social Media and Sales Assistant to work with us at Caer Rhun Hall, Conwy.
As a Social Media & Sales Assistant you will play a pivotal role in running the social media channels as well as creating content and supporting the sales and revenue team with day to day tasks.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the hotels social media identity, i.e., Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
· Content Creation - photography and videography.
· Work closely with the General Manager to create and implement social media strategies for existing venues and upcoming openings.
· Keep the websites updated; liaise with the sales and operational to update all changes.
· Ensure all marketing activities are communicated effectively and are aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
· Evaluate and report on advertising and marketing effectiveness through various means against goals.
· Contribute to creating email signatures; Create and plan targeted newsletters.
· Manage the CRM systems.
· Ensure that all listings are up to date on external websites.
· Preserve and enhance the reputation of the business.
· Assist with wedding and event enquiries, showrounds and also be involved in our open days and external shows to promote Caer Rhun Hall.
Key Requirements:
· 1 - 2 years of relevant marketing & communications experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
· A degree in marketing or a recognised qualification in media, production or digital (desired).
· Photo and video editing skills and a keen eye for detail.
· Copywriting and proofreading excellence.
· Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative ideas for content.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Must be a self-starter and able to assume a high level of individual responsibility.
· Motivation, resilience, and diligence.
· Team-working and cross-functional approach.
· Excellent command of the English language and superb presentation skills.
· Competent user of MS Office applications and Adobe Suite.
· Proficient with Canva.
· Knowledge of WordPress
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
