This is a new opportunity for a cloud infrastructure engineer to join a team of dedicated IT professionals delivering new solutions into the organisation. This role is suitable for an experienced engineer with a strong technical background in server and cloud technologies, chiefly Azure.
Responsibilities:
Work with the architecture team to create low-level design documentation, based on the provided high-level designs.
Deliver cloud-based resources and services that implement the low-level designs.
Ensure delivered solution follows defined design process and company governance procedures and processes through design reviews.
Work with the Cloud Optimisation Analyst to identify areas of improvement to design, capacity, spend and security.
Contribute to the Cloud Governance Committee as required
Qualifications:
Deep Public Cloud expertise, including IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, Microservices, SaaS - particularly Azure.
Experience in implementing robust cloud solution architectures selecting appropriate services based on workload requirements (across storage, compute, networks, security, monitoring, automation, data, IaaS, PaaS, managed services, Serverless, Microservices, etc.).
Experience within an Agile / Iterative delivery environment.
Microsoft Certification or equivalent experience in cloud technologies.
Extensive experience as an infrastructure/devops engineer
Proven ability to deliver results
