The Simple Pharma Group creates and develops pharmaceutical companies. Its portfolio of companies comprises Simple Pharma and Androlabs. Simple Pharma is the best home for proven pharma products and provides integrated, digitally enabled, end to end operations, distribution, and compliance services to pharma companies. Androlabs is the first pharma company to focus on keeping men health.
Some metrics about us: 30 team members, €10m+ of sales, 50% annual growth, 0.5m+ units shipped per month, 100+ wholesale customer sites in 20 countries. Team includes alumni of Oxford, INSEAD, McKinsey, Latham & Watkins, J&J.
We are looking for a tech-oriented Operations and Finance Director to lead our Operations and Core Finance teams (FinOps). They will oversee our relationships with customers and suppliers, quality management and compliance with GDP (good distribution practices), the day-to-day of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes and drive our scalability efforts (including automation and AI in liaison with our tech team). We need someone who is analytical, has a knack for defining & simplifying processes, has experience with physical products, and is comfortable scoping software features.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role in an exciting, early-stage business where you will be encouraged to contribute ideas and help shape the company’s trajectory.
What you will be doing
- Manage a team of 5 operations and finance colleagues, in charge of inbound supply, quality, customer success and bookkeeping
- Deliver against our strategic vision to make FinOps highly scalable by streamlining and defining all our processes, removing operational bottlenecks through lean management, automation and tech-enabled solutions
- Integrate new products we acquire
Requirements
What you are bringing
- Experience in industry within Finance Operations or a consulting firm desirable (participation in operations practice or in large integration projects is a strong plus)
- Unparalleled problem-solving abilities
- Literacy in software development and data engineering
- Experience in designing and implementing world class operations is valued
No prior pharma experience required, you’ll receive ample training on pharma-specific aspects of the job
