Job Description

About the role

We are on a mission to revolutionise the retail e-commerce industry. We are a tech-driven company, committed to delivering innovative solutions that redefine the shopping experience for millions of customers worldwide. We are at the forefront of something massive, and we're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our central team and help us shape the future of retail e-commerce.

As the Marketing Manager for Retail you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a growth marketing strategy for our new Retail vertical. You will also work with our product, tech, brand, and creative teams to develop a long-term brand & marketing strategy that aligns with our vision and goals.

You will be involved at the start of a groundbreaking initiative, where your contributions will have an impact on our company's success and growth in all our markets. You will report into the Director of Retail and be able to work under a hybrid model between our London HQ and home.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive growth marketing strategy for our new product.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure alignment between product features and marketing strategies.
  • Work with brand and creative teams to develop a long-term brand strategy.
  • Use data and analytics to guide marketing decisions and strategies.
  • Foster a customer-centric approach across all marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with international marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the tech or retail e-commerce industry.
  • Experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of customer-centric marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth marketing strategies from scratch.
  • Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with international markets is a plus.

Why Deliveroo

Our mission is to be the definitive food company. We are transforming the way the world eats by making food more convenient and accessible. We give people the opportunity to eat what they want, as they want it, when and where they want it.

We are a technology-driven company at the forefront of the most rapidly expanding industry in the world. We are still a small team, making a very large impact, looking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there. We move fast, value autonomy and ownership, and we are always looking for new ideas.

Workplace & Benefits

At Deliveroo we know that people are the heart of the business and we prioritise their welfare. Benefits differ by country, but we offer many benefits in areas including healthcare, well-being, parental leave, pensions, and generous annual leave allowances, including time off to support a charitable cause of your choice. Benefits are country-specific, please ask your recruiter for more information.

Diversity

At Deliveroo, we believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgement when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest-growing businesses in a rapidly growing industry.

We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of our hiring process. We recognise that some candidates may require adjustments to apply for a position or fairly participate in the interview process. If you require any adjustments, please don't hesitate to let us know. We will make every effort to provide the necessary adjustments to ensure you have an equitable opportunity to succeed.
