No previous experience or qualifications are required as we will provide support and full paid training to assist you in developing your skills.
All applicants will be expected to take a literacy and numeracy test on the day. Applicants who pass this test will proceed to interview stage. Applicants are advised to check their email accounts regularly.
You will be required to be fully flexible and willing to work night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
There are full-time opportunities to work across St George’s Hospital, Queen Mary’s Hospital (Roehampton) and various other community health centres in Wandsworth.

HCA staff will receive a robust induction and support to complete the ‘Care Certificate’ within the first 3-6 months of commencing in role. There are also structured progression opportunities to support staff develop from a Band 2 to Band 4 Nursing Associate.
You will support our trained nurses in a variety of wards and departments in delivering care. Duties will be dependent on the area but may include: feeding patients and supporting nutrition, washing and repositioning patient, completing observations e.g. pulse, blood pressure and temperature, completing ECG or bladder scanning (with additional training) and venepuncture and cannulation.
