Director of Digital Transformation
Working with partners across Surrey Heartlands ICS, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a system delivering major investment in transformation for residents. As a senior leader in the core ICB digital team, you will enable the success of Surrey’s Digital Roadmap, system-wide development and various clinical transformation programmes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital transformation delivery at a senior level within a health and/or social care context; as well as an appetite to serve, learn and commit to the development of others.
The role will require the post holder to build productive relationships with senior leaders across the NHS (locally, regionally and nationally) as well as the partnering sectors of social care, local authorities and VCSE. The post holder will be pivotal in overseeing successful programme delivery, as well as managing relationships and contracts with key suppliers.
Comfortable and credible with stakeholders, this person will play a key enabling role in taking advantage of technology innovations in the pursuit of the ICS vision and strategy.
Development and delivery of an integrated digital strategy and portfolio delivery plans with the CDIO and team with timely delivery of Surrey Heartlands digital enabled programmes.
Strategic oversight and assurance activities required by NHSE and the ICB.
Manage and maintain the smooth regular running of digital governance and compliance with NHSE policies and standards as well are managing risk, issue and dependency management.
Oversee the work with the team and partners to ensure the information systems are integrated and ensure robust resource management approaches.
Lead mixed multidisciplinary teams working across organisations on multiple programmes.
Setting and managing digital transformation budgets, defining budget required to scope and implement the long term strategic plan.
Responsible for providing guidance and management on the procurement of identified products, equipment, services and facilities to execute required programme and changes to services.
Complying with required standing financial Instructions and constantly striving for value for money.
Working with other leaders across the organisation to agree prioritisation of blocks of work and related resource allocation.
Employ effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills and to forge positive working relationships to achieve outcomes and objectives.
