The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 9000 - 1700.

As part of the multidisciplinary team the postholder provides a clerical service to support clinical staff delivering care within Adult Mental Health In-Patient Services, Leverndale Hospital.

Ensure manual patient records are available for patients admitted to, or attending the ward.

Ensure the computerised and manual patient administration systems are kept up to date for admissions, transfers and discharges.

Assist with clerical duties required by clinical staff to provide effective patient care.

Housekeeping duties.

Ensure access to refreshments during ward visiting hours.

Maintenance of ward stock levels.
Workload will be assigned by the Senior Charge Nurse however the postholder will have responsibility for a defined workload within guidelines.
There will be an expectation for cross cover which will include working on a Reception desk.
