Job Description

Do you have experience as an apprenticeship skills coach?

Do you have a background in banking and finance, along with strong organisational skills and an enthusiasm for apprenticeships?

Are you keen to support and guide apprentices towards completion of their Financial Services Professional apprenticeship?

Then we’d love to hear from you!

We are seeking an experienced skills coach to provide high-quality guidance and mentoring to apprentices working in the banking and finance industry, supporting them through the Level 6 Financial Services Professional apprenticeship. You will develop and manage relationships with both apprentices and their line managers, and coach apprentices to build and evidence their knowledge, skills and workplace behaviours. This will include leading regular 1-2-1 and tripartite online review meetings; tracking and recording apprentice progress; reviewing, assessing and providing feedback on portfolio evidence; and working closely with all stakeholders to ensure readiness for and timely achievement of End-Point Assessment.

Prior experience in undertaking a comparable apprenticeship coaching role is essential. Industry experience in the areas of either Corporate or Retail Banking would be a distinct advantage. You must be able to show a high attention to detail and an ability to organise and prioritise your own workload. Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including with senior industry professionals and entry-level talent, are essential.

This is a fully home-based role, although infrequent attendance in London for events such as an apprentice induction would be expected.

Before applying for any role please read our Recruitment Privacy Policy found on our website under About Us > Work with us.

To apply, please submit your CV with a covering letter explaining your suitability for the role. Please note that CVs without a covering letter will not be considered.

Please note that depending on number of CVs we receive, we may close the advert early. Due to the high volume we receive, it may not be possible to respond to all applicants who are unsuccessful.
