We’re looking to build our Consulting team, by recruiting for an Analyst based in Edinburgh starting in August 2024.
We are looking for highly driven and curious individuals, motivated by the opportunity to be part of a high performing team who can assist in growing the business and themselves whilst delivering great value and customer service for our FS clients.
Job Purpose:
- Work as part of an engagement team on a variety of client engagements covering strategy, performance improvement and complex change to support them to understand the problem, consider options and reach a conclusion
- Work alongside our clients as part of a cross-functional team within their businesses to successfully deliver the engagement
- Support in how we develop the Practice (e.g., account management, undertaking analysis for developing thought leadership, internal projects) and to take responsibility for the direction of your continuing professional development.
About you:
- Recent graduate 2.1 or above in a business-related subject
- Ability and willingness to go above and beyond, using your initiative to deliver outside of your existing role
- Problem solving skills e.g. organise data in a logical manner
- Demonstrate an interest in developing an understanding of businesses, current trends & developments and what makes businesses successful
- Strong interpersonal skills; relationship building at all levels and strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively either alone and as part of a team Be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving examples
- Have very high standards of quality, particularly as regards written outputs
- Relishes being challenged and delivering against deadlines
- Effectively manage your own time and workload, effectively planning and organising priorities
- Proficient user of MS Suite
- Analytical, and financially and commercially astute
