About the role

Helping to deliver sophisticated analytical work that supports the balanced packaging agenda. Your insights ensure that customers are central to what we do! You will be able to measure success in swiftness, accuracy, clarity, and with the projects you'll help to land on-time.

You will be responsible for
  • Building and analysing data and information sets, that supports packaging decisions and position statements.
  • Communicating with customers to explain what we do and why we make certain choices regarding packaging
  • Working cross functionally with customer, operations, commercial, technical & development teams to help them make informed decisions and build effective plans with clarity and understanding.
  • Working closely with category & brand teams to gain strategic customer insight and data.
  • Turning analysis into useful information which has context and supports narrative for the business and suppliers
  • Developing a deep understanding of packaging, root causing issues and finding opportunities to improve the way we support our customers
  • Establishing relationships across the business, and passionately promote the packaging agenda
  • Measuring the costs/benefits from the changes delivered by the team and develop future recommendations
  • Building, maintaining & develop our suite of insight and performance reports, providing the business with visibility of how packaging performs, keeping up to date with trends in product, packaging & lifestyle, competitor activity & market dynamics and sharing knowledge & findings with the team, the broader business and our suppliers
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
  • Provide administrative support to the packaging team
You will need

Operational Skills:

  • Strong organizational and people skills.
  • Strong analytical & written communication skills, with an ability to write engaging papers, present structured position statements and answer customer queries.
  • Supplier and Stakeholder Management - Packaging Knowledge (preferred, not crucial)
  • Materials Science or similar background (preferred)
  • A passion for people and the planet

Experience:

  • Statistical analysis, research and writing position documents
  • Presenting to people and sharing findings
  • Packaging industry experience (ideal but not crucial)
