We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified or experienced Helpdesk Advisor to join the engineering team working as the first point of contact for client logging jobs either via email or phone for compliance tasks or work requests.
The Primary focus of your role is to ensure that the correct resources are sent to the site be that internal or external and to ensure that all the notes are correct on the jobs in the system for the managers and clients to see.
Working full time from home currently with a view to work hybrid going forward, with days spent in our Newcastle office, you be joining a team with a can-do attitude working for a global FM provider who aim is to deliver excellence through the development of it staff and using cutting edge technology.
We are looking for someone with good level of skill on all Microsoft packages, some experience of working with a CAFM system is desirable as is experience in facilities but full training will be provided.
General duties include: -
- Logging of task received via email, Formstack or phone call
- Following up with suppliers on work sent to them to ensure the system is updated
- Keep the clients informed
This is currently a home based full time role covering 9-5, overtime may be required as work demands but this will always be via prior arrangement
Main Duties:
Speak to clients to understand the issues and assign the correct supplier
Assisting the Engineering team with admin related tasks.
Ensuring the Jobs are closed correctly with correct paperwork
Book work in with sites
Work on areas covering when other staff are not available
Responsive to client requests
Other tasks as directed by the UK engineering manager
To be successful in the role, you will need:
Clear understanding of customer care
Promptly deal with any queries or complaints

Able to travel to/work in Newcastle office each week
