Job Description:As a Receptionist at Surrey Gas, you will play a crucial role in our operations by being the first point of contact for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Client Communication: Initiating outbound calls to prospective clients who have requested a site survey on our website, aiming to schedule appointments for engineers to conduct.
- Follow-up: Following up on quotes that have been sent to clients, addressing any questions they may have and ensuring a smooth transition from quote to service.
- Materials Management: Placing orders for necessary materials to support our engineers in completing installations seamlessly, while maintaining effective communication with suppliers.
- Phone Management: Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing client enquiries, and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Client Support: Assisting clients with their queries, providing accurate information about our services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks: Assisting with general administrative duties, such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organised records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in reception or administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- A friendly and professional demeaner with a customer-centric attitude.
