Job Description
We are a Leeds based, family run haulage company based in LS15 and we have an opportunity to join our Transport Team.
The role:
· Working in busy transport office based LS15
· Processing of paperwork, including delivery notes and general administration support for the traffic office
· Tracking jobs/vehicles/drivers and keeping systems and customers updated
· Professionally dealing with incoming calls, providing first class customer service
· Producing KPI reports required by the customer
· Fulfil specific customer requirements to include:
i) raising picking lists with warehousing and stock control
ii) organising transport with our planning team
iii) record keeping for invoicing purposes
iv) general customer service duties – resolve queries etc.
The person:
· Excellent communicator and confident dealing with people at all levels
· Experience working with Excel
· Good attention to detail
· Can keep calm under pressure
· Able to work both independently and as part of a team
· Able to commit to working hours, with some flexibility required
Hours are 9-5:30pm Monday to Friday, however, some degree of flexibility will be required. Must be able to commute to our office.
