ISMMART Pharmaceuticals Industries, a dynamic and innovative startup in the pharmaceutical industry, is in the process of establishing a groundbreaking pharmaceutical company focused on transforming healthcare. We are seeking an exceptional and experienced professional to join our team as the Deputy Director of Operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of our startup, with a focus on ensuring efficient and effective operational processes.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the operational strategy, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
· Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and optimize resource allocation.
· Foster strong collaboration and effective communication with cross-functional teams, including research and development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
· Facilitate seamless coordination and alignment to achieve operational goals.
· Streamline and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Identify opportunities for automation, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement efforts across operations.
· Work closely with the executive team to plan and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to support operational activities.
· Monitor resource utilization, identify areas for optimization, and implement strategies to maximize efficiency.
· Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to monitor operational performance.
· Generate regular reports, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement to the executive team.
· Identify and mitigate operational risks through effective risk assessment and management practices. Develop and implement robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's or master's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven track record of at least 6 years in operations management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
· Experience in a startup environment or in scaling operations is advantageous.
· Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
· In-depth knowledge of operational management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
· Experience in process optimization, lean practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make data-driven decisions.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
· Resilience and ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
· Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and guidelines governing the pharmaceutical industry, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards.
