If you are up for challenging and strenuous work while climbing extreme heights on tall broadcast towers, this job may be for you. Must be willing to work outdoors and have the experience or ability to learn electronics troubleshooting. Must be a self-motivated team player that can work with minimal supervision. Computer experience necessary- daily reports are submitted via company laptop.
Earn Great Pay working at extreme heights as an Aircraft Warning Beacon and Strobe Light Technician. Work at heights up to 2000 feet on Television/Radio antenna towers and Power Plant stacks. Work Full-Time outdoors- days/nights/weekends. Our crew members average 50-65 hours per week, including travel time.
Must be physically fit, strong and in good physical condition for strenuous work to safely climb towers. Must travel approximately 14 days per trip before returning home. Must be 25+ years old (required by auto insurance). Must have a clean, valid driver’s license and background clear of felony conviction and DUI/DWI for the past 5 years. Must type and submit expense and service reports on computer forms (MS Excel) describing work completed using proper English grammar.
Background, driving history checks and drug testing required regularly. Must demonstrate high motivation, enthusiasm and energy. Company provides tools, training and safety equipment including hard hat, gloves and tower climbing harness. No experience in this field required but must be willing and able to learn electrical repair. Applicants must already be living within a 3-hour drive of our office in Clarksville, TN.
