Client Care Assistant
Salary: £22,000 per annum (pro rata £16,500)
Location: Cathcart & Winn Veterinary Practice, Surrey
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent (Full - time also available)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Client Care Assistant at Cathcart & Winn Veterinary Practice in Surrey.
As part of our reception team you will be responsible for ensuring both our clients and patients receive professional service throughout their time with us. This role is fast-paced, high pressured but fun, with no working day the same.
You will be the first point of contact with clients face to face, on the telephone and by email. Ability to demonstrate a professional and knowledgeable impression will be important. Working under pressure will also be key in this role.
Flexible rota patterns available with an equal share of Saturdays, currently 1 in 4 8.30am-4pm.
Your role and responsibilities
Liaising with clients and the clinical team to ensure effective customer service
Completing various administrative duties for the clinical team and the business
Meeting and greeting clients with an effortless smile
Booking appointments & diary management
Managing telephone and email inquiries
Taking payment for services and products
Managing cash, stock and client accounts
Working with our practice management computer software
listening to, and helping to resolve client concerns.
The successful candidate will have good communication, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience of reception work within the health care system would be advantageous, and a love for animals is absolutely required! Our Practice Cat Bernard, is always available for a lunch time cuddle too!
