You will be inventing and developing state of the art tools and pipelines to build a foundational technology for Meta next generation Avatars. You will contribute to the evolution of the avatars, have a critical impact on how we build them, and users interact with Avatars through various products. You will work closely with other technical artists and collaborate with world class engineers, data scientists, designers and user experience researchers to define the future of social experiences in Metaverse.
- Develop and maintain tools to streamline the creation of digital avatars

Contribute to and help maintain a wide array of existing workflows and tool

Partner closely with art and engineering teams to define, maintain existing and develop new well-architected content creation pipelines

Design the pipelines with artists and designers from concept to deployment

Quickly solve issues with your cross-functional leads

Ability to collaborate and iterate based on the team's needs

Extensive content pipeline development experience, with emphasis on building efficient and user friendly pipelines and tools for content creation and asset tracking, in AAA games, FX and/or big tech companies.

Knowledge of pipeline and tools design and implementation/optimisation of those in large, multi-team, distributed environments

Experience with Maya/Maya SDK Python/PyMEL, C++ API, PySide/PyQt

Experience developing for asset management systems like Shotgrid or Ftrack

Experience working with and developing for Unity or Unreal

Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams

Experience communicating across team members including engineers and artists

Experience with real time asset implementation and optimization techniques
