About the Role of a Roadside Assistance Customer Service Advisor
Permanently employed by Sensee, you will represent a well-known and award-winning roadside assistance provider that was founded in 1905. You will be trained to succeed and become a subject matter expert in what is seen as the fourth line of emergency services. You will receive inbound calls and navigate multiple virtual platforms, including a mapping system. You will obtain, relay and record information in line with regulation, safety and partnership requirements. The role will involve supporting customers that have broken down on the roadside and require reassurance and urgent support.
Once trained you will be set up to receive back-to-back inbound calls, which at peak times like during bad weather conditions, can require extra commitment to work swiftly and accurately to support the next customer in need of urgent advice. In their time of need customers can be upset and you will need to show empathy, resilience and be a calming and controlled influence in what is a time of panic for some.
