Are you an experienced business analyst? Do have excellent research, process mapping and data analysis skills and want a new challenge where you can really raise your profile and make a difference to the organisation? If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you.
You’re going to have a big impact on what we do, so you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work. To deliver a better today. And to create a better tomorrow
We’re always looking for better ways of doing things. How can we make the most of our resources? Get vulnerable people back on their feet more quickly? Create new spaces our residents want to spend time in? These are just some of the types of projects that are under way across the council – your role will be to support the work of our change programme with baseline analysis, requirements elicitation, process mapping, application of Lean6Sigma to processes, root cause analysis and quantifying process savings. Our Change Business Analysts need to be highly motivated and able to work well with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. Experience working within a social care context would be desirable for one of the two roles advertised.
We are recruiting for two Change Business Analysts within the Business Change Team.
This role will give the opportunity to work closely with Project Sponsors and our Business Change Project Managers and Business Partners in order to support the effective and efficient delivery of Business Change projects.
You will be supported throughout your role and will be encouraged to undertake any relevant training and development.
The Business Analysts will support Project Sponsors and Project Managers with effective and efficient delivery of Business Change projects through –
- providing insightful data analysis and robust process optimisation.
- taking a customer centric approach to analyse complex business problems, working with stakeholders to determine what changes are required with the use of varied industry tools and techniques
- leading process redesign work focussed on end-to-end customer journey mapping to improve customer experience and make savings
- actively identifying and developing process optimisation opportunities and functional requirements to promote continuous improvement and owning the delivery of them either through subject matter experts or directly.
- An inclusive and social working environment.
- Flexible working opportunities including a flexi-time scheme.
- Generous annual leave entitlement
- Regular opportunities for development with internal and external training courses.
- A great office location next to travel links and the regenerated town centre.
- Internal sports and social club opportunities.
- Discounted leisure centre and gym membership.
- Supermarket discount.
- An interest free loan for a rail season ticket.
If you have strong business analyst experience with excellent analytical, process mapping and optimisation and communications skills and want a role where you can really raise your profile and make an impact, we look forward to hearing from you.
