ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the Production Operative is to support the Production Manager in the manufacture, packing and assembly of Armstrong Medical Products. We are currently recruiting for different shift patterns in our manufacturing departments. These patterns are:
- Rotating over 3 shifts (8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am – 8am, Mon – Fri)
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Accurate packing and labelling product in line with the device master record
- Operating machines in accordance with Operating Procedures
- Carrying out accurate stock checks of raw materials, including notification of shortages to Department Manager
- Correct identification of all finished goods and raw materials both pre and post production
- Monitoring quality of all work in progress as well as finished goods.
- Reporting issues liable to prevent the smooth and efficient running of the department to the management
- Assisting the Shift Leader or Department Manager with cleaning of plant and machinery and general housekeeping
- Work within the guidelines set by Quality System at all times including input of accurate data into Production Records
