POSITION SUMMARY
- We are looking for somebody to join us who can work on the fast-growing direct to consumer fulfilment section of our business and assist with inventory management and general warehouse duties as required. This will be a varied role with no two days being the same.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable with manual work (sometimes moderately heavy) but also with good attention to detail, the ability to act on own initiative and work to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- This is a full-time role based in Brighton.
- The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Picking, packing & shipping of orders accurately
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Carry out regular stock take, administration and reporting as necessary
- Working at pace whilst maintaining standards
- Moving, bending, twisting, and lifting heavy products/packages
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Organising inventory to mitigate stock loss caused by expiration
- Organising and maintaining a safe, clean, clear working environment
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimise warehousing procedures
- Handling of goods in accordance with manual handling guidelines
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing to a good standard
- Excellent concentration to ensure accuracy when picking orders
- Attention to detail, troubleshooting, problem solver & self-starter
- A proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience of working with short lead time & quick turnaround of given tasks/customer orders
- Strong planning/organisational and prioritisation requirements

Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
