The Role
In this role you’ll develop your existing skills with the potential to gain a variety of new skills and to progress your career within a challenging yet creative team.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a multi-disciplined role with the primary focus on video/motion outputs. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Produce professional videos, animations and podcasts
- Support on a wide range of other projects that may include proposals & pitches, events, branding, infographics, social media and presentations for both internal and external clients
- Interpret and deliver briefs on brand and on time, creating concepts and owning the process through to final delivery
- Ensure all work aligns with brand and business values
- Prioritise tasks and workloads whilst working to tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects
- Mentor junior members of the team, ensuring enthusiasm and good morale
- Support the Lead Designers and creative team in their goals and workload
- Contribute to the project management of jobs, on the administrative side as well as the creative side
- Look for efficiencies in work processes to benefit the team and business
- Support with upskilling the team and business
- Keep up to date with industry developments
- Learn new technical skills as needed
About You:
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
- Fluency in and comprehensive knowledge of following software: After Effects (motion graphics), Premiere Pro (video editing), Audition, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience working with professional filming equipment is preferrable but not essential
- A confident self-starter who is proactive and efficient
- A team player, happy to jump onto other projects when required.
- Always learning new tricks and up for any challenge coming your way
- Great attention to detail and be able to work within tight deadlines
- Ability to pick up projects and confidently lead with minimal support
- Excellent communication skills
- Great client and project management skills
- Passionate about the work we do and willing to go the extra mile when required
- Get inspired and excited about inter-team collaboration to find the best and new solutions
- Be flexible and confident with shifting priorities
- Ability to contribute creative ideas and positively critique at team review meetings
- Demonstrable communication, time management and organisation skills
- A keen interest in learning and developing other packages in order to support the team
- Comfortable and confident in making decisions that adhere to marketing strategies, business and client goals
