Our menus are full of unique, crowd-pleasing, dishes with our seasonal brunch and evening offerings being served daily in Newcastle City Centre. We are seeking a passionate and ambitious individual looking to develop their skills alongside our existing kitchen team! The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ experience. Following full training, they will take an integral role in running day-to-day service and delivering food to a high standard on a daily basis.

The responsibilities of the Role:
- Help in the preparation and design of food & menus within parameters of the company ethos
- Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise & seize control of any problematic situations
- Adhere to daily prep schedules and order fresh stock in accordance with par levels
- Comply with environmental health and safety standards
- Maintain a positive & professional approach with coworkers & customers
- Train others to ensure the kitchen can operate to the expected standard
- Ability to maintain venue standards at the highest level
- To strive to exceed all customer expectations and maintain standards
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a chef
- Experience in stock management and ordering
- Experience in menu costings and GPs
- Familiarity with industry best practices
- Ability to communicate professionally in a high-pressure environment
- Strong people skills and ability to lead a team
- High levels of personal cleanliness & hygiene
- Aspirational, organised and efficient
