We are looking to recruit two Cleaners / Domestic Assistants to work within a friendly team providing high standards of cleanliness at Beach House.
The Beach House is a short breaks service for adults who have learning disabilities.
The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and can support a maximum of 14 people with learning disabilities at one time.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who, as well as having excellent domestic skills, have an understanding of the additional communication needs that some of the people using the service may present.
If successful you will be working as a member of an established and committed team.
Training and supervision will be provided to support you in this role.
The role of Domestic Cleaning Assistant is vital to ensure we deliver clean, safe, high quality care to our service users, visitors and staff.
This would include:
- cleaning floor services
- clients' laundry - washing and ironing
- supporting clients to keep bedrooms and bathrooms clean and tidy
- cleaning kitchen work surfaces, fridges, ovens
- assisting in stock control and budgeting
- being aware of the use of cleaning products and safety guidelines

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
