This role provides accurate, efficient administration support and diary management to the Area Manager. Responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the area administration; liaising with customers and colleagues. Prioritise tasks, organise meetings, collate and analyse data and administer clear communications, in line with the area objectives.
This role is predominantly based from home, however it will suit candidates who are based and able to travel across the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire counties from time to time.
What you need to do
- Demonstrate confidentiality and initiative, whilst taking ownership of leading the organisation and facilitation of the area administration
- Provide an exemplary level of service to customers, colleagues and the Area Managers, adjusting personal behaviours to meet their different needs
- Administer customer and colleague queries to the Area Manager/s through to resolution, escalating important details or issues in a timely manner
- Manage the Area Manager/s correspondence. Drafting communication responses to emails with a timely, accurate and professional approach, responding directly where appropriate within agreed parameters
- Understand the business objectives and goals of the Area/s you work on, and work flexibly to accommodate for the change in working environment and workload, prioritising your time appropriately
- Area Manager/s diary management, managing short and long-term commitments
- Events management; organising and coordinating conference calls, meetings and area functions, to ensure consistent and maximum attendance. Capturing key actions or minute taking when in attendance
- Proactively analyse and prepare reports in a timely manner, following up queries on behalf of the AM. Share findings with the AM.
- Collate, prioritise and edit information required for meetings, summarising where appropriate
- Prepare presentations and co-ordinate projects for the AM working under the general guidance of templates and content where available

What you need to know and show
- Knowledge of Retail Operations and all processes
- Be able to use digital technically to a confident level
- Show a willingness/eagerness to develop and learn about the wider group and external environment relevant to the role
- Knowledge and understanding of the goals, objectives and plans for the Area/s
- Have experience with and be able to demonstrate strong skills of managing administrative processes
- The ability to demonstrate engagement and confidently communicate to different levels across the business
- Ability to work independently and pro-actively, to support the delivery of operational excellence within your area/s
- High level of confidentiality and integrity at all times
- Self-motivated and able to learn new skills at pace
- Demonstrate sound judgement and decision making
