Job Description
Are you newly qualified or experienced nurse with a passion for working with people in an adult social care or health setting?
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust are working in partnership to provide reablement in a newly built integrated Social Care and Health Centre, opening in November, 2022. The Centre will be an 80 bedded reablement centre based on Harvest Road, Rowley Regis.
We are now recruiting to a variety of roles within both organizations, presenting exciting opportunities to work in a brand new, purpose-built service supporting individuals to regain or maximize their own independence.
The reablement approach supports working in partnership with people to retain or regain their skills and confidence so they can learn to manage after a period of illness or immobility, working collaboratively to build safe and effective plans of discharge.
Integration is our overarching principle with the aim of achieving improved care through better coordination of, and person-centred, services.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to work as part of our nursing workforce for the new centre, providing your nursing skills to support individuals to reach their full potential and return to a community setting.
You must be genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, good team players and passionate about empowering and supporting people to achieve goals.
Working Hours:
You will be required to work a mixture of early, late and night shifts. These will also include working weekends and bank holidays.
You must hold a current Nursing and Midwifery Council Qualification in Adult Nursing.
