Position Overview

Reporting to the Associate, Business Services your primary responsibility will be to manage the London office ensuring that is operates efficiently and effectively; additionally you will be responsible for providing assistance to the executive team (as an when required).


Key responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact to all visitors and callers at Eurasia Group’s London office, greeting guests, escorting them to conference rooms, and connecting them with members of the EG staff.
  • Provide calendar, travel, and admin support for 1-2 Eurasia Group Managing Directors, as directed.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with vendors for the London office.
  • Oversee the office’s daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Responsible for mail distribution, receive deliveries, and upkeep of the reception desk.
  • Maintain office organisation by cleaning and organising daily, checking office supply inventory weekly, and re-ordering supplies as needed.
  • Prepare conference rooms for guests.
  • Coordinate logistics for the London office social events, including work anniversary celebrations, office happy hours, and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with administrative professionals across all EG offices, providing support where needed.
  • Occasional work on special projects and events such as business offsites, client breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners.
  • Providing onboarding assistance to new hires in the office, such as badge activation, answering new hire inquiries, and assisting with laptop and desk setup.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate, Business Services.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant office experience within a fast-paced client-services organisation
  • Preferred candidates have strong Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with Concur is a plus
  • Must have a strong sense of professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Excellent coordination and written communication skills
  • The ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities
  • A strong sense of attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and must be proactive rather than reactive
  • Must be punctual and reliable
