Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 depending on skills and experience
We are seeking an APM/PM to support our Site Transformation team in delivering our site transformation plans. This is a rare but exciting development opportunity to work on a large cross functional Capital Project. Working with Senior Management, Shared Services, Real Estate Solutions (RES) and multiple internal/external stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering key aspects of the plan, whilst developing and maintaining good customer/supplier relations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working alongside the Programme Lead and the wider team, you will coordinate projects and help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the agreed budget
- Creating, maintaining, monitoring and reporting a comprehensive document suite (LCM / Requirements) including project performance and status
- Assisting in the definition of project scope, project activities and dates, with the involvement of all stakeholder's
- Coordinating/collaborating with all stakeholder's internally and externally to ensure flawless execution
- Identify risks and supporting the Programme Lead in identifying/delivering risk mitigation activities
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan that embraces all elements of the project
- Implementation and utilisation of Earned Value management methodologies when appropriate
- Driving ownership of Work Packages and tasks throughout the project team
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Show an aptitude for applying Project Management principles and techniques to your daily tasks
- A proven track record in Project Management with awareness of requirements definition/management, commercial and financial skills
- Strong well rounded business knowledge with focus on, and understanding of, Business Success criteria
Desirable:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Broad cross functional business experience
- Knowledge of latest Project Management tools and techniques. Including Microsoft project and Risk and Opportunity Management.

The Project Management Team:
This exciting opportunity is within the Project Management Team at Electronic Systems at Rochester. The team is responsible for extremely complex and innovative projects, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Assistant Project Manager. You will be involved in all aspects of project management as a member of this team. You will assist the Project Manager with day-to-day management activities in order to meet the project's time, cost, and quality goals. This position will give you the opportunity to advance your career within Project Management and Electronic Systems.
