Available Job Today Post: Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Salary: Scale 2 / 4 - £20,490 - £25,353 (Career Graded)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: St Marks House, Thornaby (with home working also available)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the posts of HR Assistant, part of the HR Administration Team, working within the People and Development Department for Cleveland Police.
The successful post holder will support the implementation and delivery of the People and Development strategy to enable the delivery of effective organisational development. Providing professional advice and administration support to line managers and service units on Human Resources is integral to the role.
We are seeking candidates who are customer focused and organised, with excellent administrative skills. This is a varied role where you will work on areas such as maternity leave, leavers and retirements as well as having the opportunity to be involved in project work supporting the updating of systems in relation to organisational changes.
Candidates who have excellent IT skills and learn new systems quickly will be suited to this role. We are looking for confident communicators as you will liaise with staff from across the force of varying levels, as well as working with other departments.
We are a small supportive team, which sits as part if the wider HR function. For candidates who are new to working in HR this will be an excellent opportunity to build on your knowledge in this area and develop your skills and experience.
