An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administrator/ Healthcare Assistant to join Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH)'s well established Tissue Viability Team based at Oak Lane Health Centre, Barnet, North London.
The post is for 18.00 hrs per week part time.
The successful applicant will receive regular supervision and have access to a wide range of development opportunities to support their continued professional development. There is opportunity for you to gain a wide perspective in a range of clerical and clinical aspects and the adoption of new ways of working.
The Barnet Tissue Viability Service is looking for a dynamic, motivated and highly skilled administrator to join our Tissue Viability Nursing Team. The post holder will need excellent communication, customer service, administration and IT skills to support the team to deliver a high-quality service to our clients and professional partners.
- The post holder will provide comprehensive and high-quality administrative support to the team.
- The post holder will act as a point of contact for patients, colleagues and external partners and appropriately manage communications within the team.
- The post holder will take responsibility for referral, visit and appointment administration as appropriate to the role, and communicating appointment related information to patients/carers.
- Your ability to effectively use computer systems including System 1, Integra and Solo to record information and to order supplies is essential. You will also need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Book clinics and appointments and manage cancellations or amendments in a timely manner
- Effectively manage Service waiting lists
- Maintain health records as required and according to local policies
- Liaise with partner agencies re on site clinics
- Utilise relevant electronic patient record systems to enter and retrieve patient data ensuring all details are accurately recorded in a timely manner
- Provide accurate confirmation of appointments to patients
- Maintain the integrity of patient data on electronic patient records, including the creation and update of record
