Job Description

Avaliable Job Today St Mark and All Saints C of E Primary School are looking for full or part time enthusiastic, talented, energetic Teaching Assistants to help progress children and inspire them to learn new things.

An excellent opportunity to join a school in The Good Shepherd Trust academy within easy reach of Guildford and the A3. St Mark and All Saints have well-resourced classrooms and a supportive staff team.

The role will include responsibilities such as: supporting children’s learning (Nursery to Year 6), undertaking playground duties, preparing resources, assisting the class teacher as well as a lunch duty.

School: St Mark and All Saints C of E Primary School, Godalming, Surrey GU7 2LD

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Grade B (£19,506 - £19,723 FTE) April 2023 pay rates. Actual salary will be pro rated for weeks worked / part time hours (£14,944)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 hours per week term time only (8:30 - 3:30)

What we are looking for:

GCSE grades of at least ‘C’ in English and Maths

The ability to read and write fluently and confidence in maths

Self-confidence, common sense and maturity

A good sense of humour and effective communication skills

Adaptability and enthusiasm

SEN experience (desirable but not essential)

Be confident to work with pupils from Reception to Year 6

Closing date: Monday 27 March 2023 mid-day
