Job Description

Location: Hybrid with working in our Contact Centre in Bristol, Bradley Stoke twice a month once passed probation – good public transport links and accessible via M4. 5-minute drive away from huge indoor shopping centre with large department stores.

Part-time: 20 hours per week. The successful candidate would be expected to work a Friday and one weekend per month. One shift must be from 13:30pm or later. All other shifts can be chosen.

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £30,599.69 FTE (actual salary £16,319.83)

What is an Integrative Person Centred Telephone Counsellor?

An Integrative Person Centred Telephone Counsellor will work in an established team of up to six counsellors providing telephone counselling to people considering or choosing abortion and post abortion. There will also be a limited number of vasectomy clients to support.

Ensuring computerised notes are precise and completed, you will need to start and finish sessions promptly with the awareness of, and dealing with or referring, safeguarding clients when appropriate.

You will be a fully qualified counsellor to a minimum of Level 4 Diploma in professional counselling and a member of the BACP and understand the Humanistic Person Centred Core Conditions using this as a foundation, incorporating other models of counselling to support our clients.
