Salary: £18,532.80 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £12,870)

We’re seeking an experience Cleaner to provide a high-quality cleaning service to our schemes in Birmingham. In a nutshell, you’ll ensure that the communal areas of the scheme are well maintained and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
What you’ll be doing
- Cleaning surfaces (including internal glazing on doors etc)
- Ensure the laundry area in clean and that machines are cleaned out regularly
- Ensure that the kitchen and communal toilets are cleaned daily
- Wipe down all window ledges, woodwork and work surfaces to ensure they are clean and in a presentable condition
- Floor areas to be vacuumed or mopped as appropriate
- Dust and polish all areas as required.
- On a monthly basis, sweep out entrances, bin rooms and internal foyers as appropriate
What you’ll need
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults or within a sheltered housing scheme
- Experience of cleaning
- Experience of using a computer
- Passionate about creating a positive, clean and safe environment for residents, guests and your team
- The ability to carry out your tasks independently
- Having a strong understanding of COSHH, Health and Safety and Safeguarding
- You have a great eye for detail and experience carrying out regular development inspections and cleaning
