Responsibilities
- Support workforce planning and resource deployment for major events and venue activity to meet the operational and fiscal brief.
- Become an expert in the company time and attendance system to ensure a consistent approach in the creation of master templates, repeat rosters, labour forecasting, payroll processing, and post-event financial reporting.
- Actively participate in workforce recruitment events in collaboration with the Head of People Operations, on site Operators, and Talent Acquisition. Take full accountability to welcome all new recruits to their home location.
- Manage local payroll including processing, reporting, raising queries, and holiday and absence related deductions.
- Follow all company protocols and processes in agency partner management, liaising with the People Operations Manager when support or advice is required.
- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
- Support the central HR and Loss Prevention teams with first line response and management of local, generalist employee relations matters.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in a similar role in an organisation with a large casual workforce.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and team members.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to use an HR information system including accessing, inputting, and compiling data.
- Experience applying HR advisory in a sport service and/or event-based business desired.
