Job description
The Data Analyst role sits within the Data Analytics team, with the responsibility of working across the entire business - understanding their data requirements, and collecting and analysing data to help the business make informed decisions.
This role will ideally suit a Data Analyst who has a couple of years experience working in a data analytics function. Candidates must be able to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting data, analysing results and providing ongoing reports and visualisations for all areas of the business.
- Supporting other areas of the business with relevant queries
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, both internal and external
- Work with other departments to understand their data needs, and provide meaningful data to aid their business decisions
- Working with IT development team for development and maintenance of Data Lake functionality
Requirements
- Educated to at least degree level
- Be capable of presenting findings clearly via reports and presentations to senior colleagues
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Working knowledge of AWS Athena and Quicksight (desirable)
- Knowledge of appropriate programming languages including SQL
