We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated Kitchen Porter, Nights to join our Food and Beverage Support Services team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £12.55 / hour - comprising a base rate of £11.07, plus a qualified estimate of £1.48 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Supporting our chefs and their brigades, working overnight, you’ll ensure all cleaning routines are completed throughout the kitchens on a nightly basis; our standards are sky high and our cleaning schedules are tight
You’ll be responsible for making sure all crockery, cutlery and glassware are cleaned to the highest standards before reaching our guests, you’ll have an eagle eye for detail and understand the part you play in making sure every element of our service is perfect
Storing all equipment; crockery, glassware, cutlery in each outlet accurately and safely; making sure that the highest standards are maintained in all storage areas and we can find what we need, when we need it
Ensuring the safe removal, segregation and storage of all recycling materials
Supporting our culinary and service teams at late night events that can also run into the early morning hours
Building strong working relationships with our teams across the estate, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making sure our service is perfect in every way
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:
Ideally, you already have a good general knowledge of kitchens within hospitality and back of house operations and you’re also experienced in food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
Used to work in fast paced settings, you work well under pressure and thrive on challenge
You're highly motivated and possess an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
You're a strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
