Key Purpose of the role:
You’ll help us bring our Restaurant Hub Brand alive to more folk than anyone else!
The Front of House Team Member serves as the face of The Restaurant Hub, creating that warm first welcome, taking care of all the things in between, all the way through to that fond final farewell. You will be responsible for ensuring that every customer has an extraordinary time, from how we greet them, to how we help them order and choose, serving their food and drink, to the conversations you have and the lasting impressions you leave. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring our Restaurant Hub looks amazing all day every day!
Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional standards and service to all customers, at all times. All wrapped up with you being you, and a great big dollop of professionalism and enthusiasm mixed in.
- Demonstrates strong menu knowledge and suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience at all times.
- Prepare food and drink orders as per your training.
- Ensure all orders are processed correctly- from takeaway, to eat in and online options too.
- Ensure all order payments are processed correctly and our cash handling policy is adhered to.
- Support your management team in ensuring the store is fully set for service in line with all checklists, cleaning schedules, audit standards and brand standards.
- Ensures excellent standards are maintained at all times by following set cleaning tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and as per site requirements.
- Ensure all menu items delivered to the customer meet brand standards at all times.
- Always has the customer at the heart of everything you do- effective and professional handling of any customer complaint, informing management on duty immediately.
- Ensure that you comply with legislation regarding Security, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Licensing laws and as per training provided.
- Can fully explain and demonstrate the allergen procedures.
- Always a key player and a team player!
- Reports anything not right or broken to management immediately.
- Attends and contributes to team meetings and training sessions.
- Knows and exceed sales targets.
