This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing team dedicated to providing insights and intelligence to GP Practices and Primary Care Networks.
The Data Analyst will work with PCNs and Partners, providing insights and intelligence to ensure that all PCNs have the means to provide better patient care. We aim to offer and deliver excellent, safe, co-ordinated, high quality patient analysis. Continuously learning, evolving and implementing new models of care, to create inclusion and reduce inequalities and improve outcomes.
This is an exciting role and an opportunity to make a unique and measurable impact on patient care, also enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of Integrated services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building high trust relationships with Local EMIS Teams, Practice based Clinicians and Community based Clinicians as well as Public Health England. The postholder will develop reporting, dashboards, and analysis to support Practice teams and improve Patient Care.
Main Duties
- Managing, analysing, and reporting on EMIS practice and patient data
- Ensuring that all EMIS templates in GP surgeries are set up with the most up-to-date clinical codes to ensure that activity is successfully captured
- Collaborating with the Primary Care Information Manager in agreeing analytics workstreams
- Analysing and reporting against DES, LES and prevalence specifications to ensuring successful delivery for PCN Contracts
- Increasing usage of EMIS through enhancing and making the systems more efficient at a Practice and PCN level
