Avaliable Job Today Looking for something new? We have a position available within our Production department. We are looking for a machine operator to make our team complete. As a valued member of the team, you will be working within a fast paced environment with many other people, performing duties such as data entry, document checking, reporting errors and performing quality control checks.

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
You will be contracted to 45 hours per week, (8am-6pm or 12pm-10pm) Monday to Friday (except for bank holidays). This can be discussed at interview stage.
Salary begins at £10.05 per hour with a discretionary monthly bonus up to £100. This includes a 6 month probation period. There is also potential to earn more depending on performance.
*Hourly rate to rise to a minimum of £10.42 from 1st April 2023*

Main duties:
· Stock allocation
· Reporting of defective material to internal departments
· Dealing with customer collections
· Batch allocation
· Load and unload machinery
· Operating machinery
· Use of internal tracking systems
· Liaising with team leaders
· Maintaining housekeeping
· Ensuring materials are safely organised
· Complete jobs on time and in full
· Completing paperwork
Requirements:
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Excellent time management.
· Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
· Keen eye for detail.
· Have a proactive approach to tasks
· Detail for health and safety
· Correct PPE at all times
