DfC WORK EXPERIENCE - SOCIAL IMPACT ASSISTANT
CONTRACT: Temporary, Part time
DIVISION: Civils
LOCATION: Belfast Transport Hub, Grosvenor Road, BT12
Working with the Social Impact Manager, you will gain work administrative experience in a busy construction site office supporting the project’s social value activities.
Duties:
- Collating case studies and community activity outputs
- Engaging with a range of stakeholders to capture impacts of social value activities
- Inputting social impact records onto relevant databases
- Ensuring accurate online records are maintained
- Supporting the development of good news stories for different audiences
- Assisting with the organisation of community outreach events
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrate an interest for the role
- Demonstrate a desire to learn new skills
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint in particular)
- Basic numeracy skills
- Ability to follow instructions
Desirable Skills:
- Interest or experience in data analysis
- Marketing or community engagement
This work experience opportunity is unpaid and is expected to last for 4 weeks and will require attendance of 25 hours. While on Work Experience, participants will retain their entitlement to benefit. Travel and childcare costs may be reimbursed.
